Although my gouge comes to you with a simple grind, that doesn't mean that this is the only configuration that works. Some of my users have modified the grind so that they can use the gouge for much more than roughing out a project. Just take a look at pictures of three different adaptations of my tool. In the second and third sets of pictures, you can see the jig that was used to achieve the grind.
